Good Egg Productions was founded in 2025 by local Santa Cruz actors and theatre artists Ian Dyer, Sarah K. Michael, and Sarah Mitchler. Our intention: to put on modern works with the goal of keeping in conversation with theatre that speaks to contemporary audiences. Good Egg’s first production, Matt & Ben, was a tremendously successful first outing for a new theatre collective looking to engage Santa Cruz audiences.
That momentum leads us into the highly-anticipated announcement of the completion of our first season, with two additional productions of engaging contemporary plays, and 3 staged readings of original works by local playwrights.
